Dear Shaolin Disciples,

Kung Fu is a Jewel of China and all of humanity. The art is filled with invaluable wisdom capable of transforming weakness into strength, cowardice into courage, and despair into hope. This precious jewel fosters true friendship, compassion, and world peace. To date, there are practitioners on nearly every continent on the planet. 

The history of the Shaolin Temple is a fabled tale that encapsulates the endearing spirit of Buddhism and Martial Arts. It is a tale filed with great battles and accomplishments and one that continues to burn bright in the hearts and minds of its disciples.

The 2013 Shaolin Temple Cultural Festival and tournament hosted by the Abbott of the Shaolin Temple was an enormous success. It was an unprecedented cultural event held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The moving images in this highlight video, are testimony to the endearing spirit of Shaolin Kung Fu Practitioners who attended.
