The first form in the Shaolin Temple curriculum is called Lian Huan Quan (连环拳). The routine is defined as Small Linked Boxing due to its natural flow and linked movements. Although the name Lian Huan Quan is synonymous for many styles and forms of Kung Fu, this particular version is widely practiced around the world today. Although Lian Huan Quan may vary depending on teacher, school, or organization, there is a common well-known standard.
